Contract Window (Simple Implementation)

The purpose is page is to describe the typically requirements of a Contract window. Here are my observations:

Most organizations need a Contract window
Most organizations have slightly different contract requirements; however, generally, the concepts are the same
Up until now, I have always implemented the windows as a one-off implementation because the process is fast, easy and flexible.

Here are the common implementation:

Contract Type window
- Name - examples include: Master Service Agreement, Statement of Work, Facilities, Information Technology, etc...
Contract window
- Name
- Contract Type
- Effective Dates (Start and End)
- Reference
  - Business Partner
  - User
  - Project
  - Order
  - Invoice
  - Product
- URL - used to track DocuSign style online execution tools both during and after the execution is complete

Attachments:

If the customer is using Logilite's version of iDempiere, I typically use DMS for managing attachments
Otherwise, I just use regular iDempiere Attachments to track executed documents
