Copying a GL Journal
The toolbar Copy Record only copies the current record and not records on any subtab. The common iDempiere practice for a deep copy is to perform the following:- Copy the header of an existing record
- Save the newly created header
- Click on the Process toolbar icon (gear) from the newly created header and choose the "Copy Details" process.
- In the Copy Details process, find the old header with all the lines and press OK
- This performs a deep copy from the old header to the new header.
