How to Add Your Own Logos and Tab Name

The purpose of this page is to help you customize iDempiere by adding your own logos. Here are the steps:
  1. Log in as System Administrator role (User: SuperUser and Password: System)
  2. Open the System Configurator window
  3. Create two new records.
  4. Create and save the first record to override the logo on the login page. Note: you have freedom in how big this image can be. The login screen will adjust accordingly.
    1. Name: ZK_LOGO_LARGE
    2. Configured Value: http://YourCompanyURL.com/yourLoginImageLogo.png
    3. Configuration Level: System
  5. Create and save the second record to override the small iDempiere logo next to the menu search box in the upper-left corner of your home screen (after logging in). Note: this image should be about the same size as the existing logo.
    1. Name: ZK_LOGO_SMALL
    2. Configured Value: http://YourCompanyURL.com/yourHomeScreenImageLogo.png
    3. Configuration Level: System
  6. Create and save ZK_BROWSER_ICON to change the favicon.

  7. Create and save ZK_BROWSER_TITLE to change the name of the tab.

  8. Execute the Cache Reset process. Note that some of the above changes might require a reboot to take effect.
  9. Log out and refresh the login screen to see the login
If you are not happy with your logo selection or if the system does not behave as expected, simply delete the records you just created. You can also update the backup/restore process to update these values to make your 'test' system more obviously not production. If you want to change more than just the logo, you will need to create your own theme.
