The purpose of this page is to help you get up and running with the node development and deployment environment.

nvm (node version manager)

• github repo - see latest version
• Use to install npm / node (updating for current/latest version):

curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.40.0/install.sh | bash

node/npm

Install latest node ("node" is an alias for latest):

nvm install node

View list of versions (if you need a different version than latest):

nvm ls-remote

Existing repo

cd into the existing repo and execute:

npm install
npm start
